Getting started

The Commonwealth Paid Parental Leave (CPPL) federal scheme provides the basic minimum wage to eligible new parents. Find out more about eligibility and daily rates from the Department of Human Services website.​​

How to

Apply for CPPL - Payments are process upon completion of the steps below:

Your agency HR department will assist you to complete CPPL application form and related process

  1. To process the CPPL application form you will need to provide the following information to your HR department:

  • Completed CPPL application form

  • Centrelink Determination

  • Confirmation and Payablity letters

  • Payability Letters

 

Your agency HR department will complete relevant sections on the CPPL application form (add their letterhead, logo, contact details, name and ABN),  and forward to a dedicated CPPL team for processing.
