Contractual Obligations - Intellectual Property protection

User access to our Business Systems are subject to Intellectual Property Contracts, which extend to employees and users of our systems.  Contracts and agreements are in place with Systems Owners to protect patents, trademarks, designs, processes and coding.  Intellectual property in business are protected by copyright law (recorded, written description of a new process, and screen images.)  Shared Services SA have taken steps to secure all rights necessary to enable users to carry out it's activities in a lawful manner. 

Users are entitled to use the program for the specified purpose to carry out it's activities - consistent with their role.  Users are not entitled to share the program with external parties.   

Shared Services SA manage the use and access to IP assets provide to us by Owners under Intellectual Property Contracts (NDA's) and we intentionally restrict access to users. 

SA Government - State net users are provided access via a range sites, with inbuilt permissions and restrictions.  Users must not share, disclose, reproduce or download assets, information and images related to our business systems and processes that impact on our ability to manage and control and protect our Business Systems Intellectual property obligations.
